De-stress doodle of Slaine Troyard from Aldnoah Zero (probably one of my favourite shows this season).
Slaine is absolutely a d o r a b l e, and I wanted to draw him with his dere/blushing expression, but the whole time I could only think of him being cane-whipped every episode…
When Yumichika first met Ikkaku, his friend-to-be was pouting. Of course, to most eyes, including Yumichika’s, it didn’t look much like it. It simply looked as if he was scowling at the boy he’d just beaten in a fist fight. He turned to Yumichika, expression unchanged, and demanded, “What are you looking at?”
It wasn’t until much later that Yumichika came to realize that Ikkaku just had peculiar lips. They stretched tight over his teeth, so even a pout became a scowl. They were expressive, though, when Ikkaku spoke. When he made an “o” sound, his bottom lip puckered and became full for the briefest of moments.
Oftentimes Yumichika couldn’t go a day without remarking on Ikkaku’s chrome dome. But never once did he share his observations of his lips. They were private, meticulous, and probably unwelcome. He would continue to observe, fingers twitching occasionally, mysteriously.
I’m in ruins because of these two
oh my god bless you THUNDER THIGHS HERE I COME
if i was a magical girl, what would my color, outfit, and weapon be?
You’re a dual color. A darker purple and olive green. As you can see, your outfit. A long coat that buttons at the chest. Belly shirt -cuz let’s face it, all your shirts are belly because height.- A skirt per cliche magic girl look, but long enough to not be annoying but sort enough to move. Knee high boots to kick ass. collar necklace and earrings to match with the 3rd accent color.
Powers you ask? Im just going to let you summon helpers from history. After all, you know your history very well and youre one of the booky people i know.
Down sides? It takes time to summon and the summons are temporary of course. But hey, you can always hit them with the book.

The Underhill Library is a place of mystery for sixteen-year-old Alvy when she becomes the Assistant Librarian. She can see faeries and she thinks that she understands the library’s inner workings because she knows that the Librarian is a faery and that the Page Master, Underhill, was once human. The Librarian Pereaux is the Great Emissary for the ruthless faery Queen of the Seelie Court, but Alvy doesn’t fully realize what Pereaux’s role in the Ethereal Realm entails. When the Bridge between the faery realm and the human world begins malfunctioning, a group of renegade faeries start conjuring their own portals, entering the human world without permission, and bringing with them a world of magic, faeries, stolen souls, and uncovered pasts that were meant to be left hidden. It is up to a group of unlikely comrades to apprehend the perpetrators, and as these companions make mistakes, make deals, and find love, they come to realize that they don’t always have to fight their battles alone.
Hey all! My dear friends Meghan Loeb and Caitlyn Averett have coauthored a YA fantasy fiction novel, and it was published a few days ago! You may remember me posting about it a few months back. I’ve already ordered my copy and I’m super excited to get my hands on it. If stories about the fae are your cup o’ tea, then check this series out! It’s only ten bucks plus shipping, and you get a beautiful little paperback, and you’ll be supporting a couple of great people who also just so happen to be newly published. Any questions? Ask me and I’d love to chat your ear off about the series. I’ve been reading what they have written (almost five books by now) since the first draft of book one, and I can assure you that these characters are going to grow, and the plots throughout the books are wonderful.
Thanks for taking the time to read this far if you made it, and have a good morning/day/evening!
